The U.S. Embassy London has a requirement for the provision and delivery of Two new SUV-type vehicles in accordance with the specifications and terms and conditions set forth herein. The U.S. Government intends to award a contract/purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced, technically acceptable (LPTA) offeror/quoter who is a responsible contractor, in accordance with FAR 52.212-1. The Government intends to award a purchase order based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so. Only companies or individuals specializing in this field should apply. It is compulsory for all companies doing business with the U.S. Government valued over $30,000 to register on a website called "SAM – System for Award Management" www.sam.gov. The website compiles standard information such as the company legal name, street address, contact information, and what kind of goods and services it offers. An NCAGE code is required to register in SAM. If you do not have this information, it must be obtained before registering. There is no cost involved, neither to obtaining the NCAGE code nor to register in SAM. Interested parties are strongly encouraged to register their business as soon as possible to avoid any delay in making an award to the successful bidder.
