The Government intends to award a contract/purchase order to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract/purchase order based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so. It is compulsory for all companies doing business with the U.S. Government valued over $30,000 to register on a website called “SAM – System for Award Management” www.sam.gov. The website compiles standard information such as the company legal name, street address, contact information, and what kind of goods and services it offers. An NCAGE code is required to register in SAM. The Embassy intends to conduct a pre-quotation conference at the site. The pre-proposal conference will be held on the 30th April 2024 at 2.30am at the US Embassy, 33 Nine Elms Lane, London SW11 7US.
