The Embassy of the United States in the United Kingdom will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available. The United States Embassy, London has a requirement for group Private Medical Insurance (PMI) to be made available to locally employed staff in the UK to cover routine medical issues and medical emergencies. The Contractor shall provide all managerial and administrative support that are necessary to accomplish all work required by this contract. The anticipated performance period is one (1) Base Year with two (2) one-year Option periods which may be exercised at the sole discretion of the U.S. Government. All responsible sources with an established business which conforms to all legal requirements for providing employee health insurance coverage in the United Kingdom may submit a quotation which will be considered. The USG may award the purchase order based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant award will be a firm fixed price contract. All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals. This opportunity is subject to 52.229-12 - Tax on Certain Foreign Procurements (FEB 2021)
