The U.S. Embassy London has a requirement for the Preventative Maintenance for the Main Consular Audio-Visual system located within the Consular Office within the US Embassy, London. The Contractor shall provide all necessary managerial, administrative and direct labor personnel, and as well as all necessary transportation, equipment, tools, repair parts, supplies and materials required to perform inspection, maintenance, repair, and component replacement as required to maintain the relevant equipment or system in accordance with the Government's solicitation. The anticipated performance period is one (1) Base Year with four (4) one year Option period(s) which may be exercised at the sole discretion of the U.S. Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered. All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.

The U.S. Mission to the United Kingdom intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the prevention maintrenance of Consular audio visual equipment at the U.S. Embassy in London. Only companies specializing in this field should apply for a solicitation package and present proof of their qualifications and previous appropriate work. It is compulsory for all companies doing business with the U.S. Government valued at over $30,000 to register on a website called “SAM – System for Award Management” www.sam.gov. The website compiles standard information such as company legal name, street address, contact information, and what kind of goods and services it offers. To register in SAM and a CAGE code are required. If you do not have this information, it must be obtained before registering. There is no cost involved, either in obtaining the numbers or registering in SAM. Interested parties are strongly encouraged to register their business as soon as possible to avoid any delay in finalizing an award. Please note that the RFQ documentation is not yet ready to be issued. The solicitation will be published on SAM.gov under RFQ #19UK5623Q0046. Once the RFQ is published, vendors will then have forty (40) days to send their proposals for evaluation.
