The U.S. Embassy, London intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for a yearly maintenance contract for the Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) systems. The contractor will be certified to carry out work on (APC and Eaton) UPS systems and will cover the maintenance of 43 APC UPS and 16 Eaton BLADE UPS, located across 11 floors of the Embassy. Only companies specializing in the relevant field should request a solicitation package. Is now compulsory for all companies doing business with the U.S. Government valued over $30,000 to register on a website called “SAM – System for Award Management” at www.sam.gov. The website compiles standard information such as a company’s legal name, street address, contact information, and the type of goods and services it offers. To register in SAM, an NCAGE code is required. If you do not have an NCAGE code, it must be obtained before registering. There is no cost involved, neither for obtaining the NCAGE code, nor for registering in SAM. Interested parties are strongly encouraged to register their business as soon as possible to avoid any delay in finalizing an award.
