The American Embassy London has a requirement for Legal Advice Services in relation to UK pensions law regarding existing Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution schemes, including but not necessarily limited to: Workplace pensions & auto-enrollment Scheme documentation, Scheme Rules, consolidations & amendments Member communications and employer pension consultation exercises Scheme funding and covenant issues Liability management and reduction exercises The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with up to two one-year option periods, which may be exercised at the sole discretion of the U.S. Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be on January 10, 2023 at 14:00 hrs. All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals. Electronic submissions will be accepted: This opportunity allows for electronic responses.
