There will be a site visit next Wednesday August 17, 2022 at 14:00 at Winfield House, Outer Circle Regents Park, London NW1 4RT. Bids are due in before 17:00 UK time on Friday September 9, 2022. Please send your completed bid electronically to LondonProc@state.gov. Please ensure that your bid includes all the information and documentation listed on Attachment 3 ‘submittal checklist’. Your bid may not be considered if any of this information is missing. Registration in the U.S. Government’s System for Award Management (SAM) www.sam.gov is mandatory for all overseas awards over $30,000. A summary and walkthrough document have been provided for your information. Registering in SAM is free, but the process can take several weeks. Consequently, if your bid is priced at $30,000 or more, you are encouraged to sign up prior to an award being made to avoid any delays at a later stage in the process. If you have any questions regarding this RFQ or clarifications pursuant to the site visit, please email them to LondonProc@state.gov before 17:00 UK time on Wednesday August 24, 2022. The U.S. Embassy intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the replacement of a culturally significant timber trellis at a large historic property in central London. Only companies specializing in the relevant field should request a solicitation package. It is now compulsory for all companies doing business with the U.S. Government valued at over $30,000 to register on a website called “SAM – System for Award Management” www.sam.gov. The website compiles standard information such as company legal name, street address, contact information, and what kind of goods and services it offers. To register in SAM, a DUNS number and a NCAGE code are required. If you do not have this information, it must be obtained before registering. There is no cost involved, either in obtaining the numbers or registering in SAM. Interested parties are strongly encouraged to register their business as soon as possible to avoid any delay in finalizing an award. Please note that the RFQ documentation is not yet ready to be issued. Interested parties should contact GSO Procurement at LondonProc@state.gov, referencing ID #19UK5622Q0062, and request to receive a copy of the RFQ package when it is issued.
