The U.S. Consulate General Istanbul is seeking qualified contractors to provide materials and services for the installation and replacement of the engine on our 92-year-old motor yacht, "Hiawatha." This solicitation is issued to inform potential vendors of the upcoming solicitation and to solicit expressions of interest. All interested sellers shall review this RFQ and offer engine brand Cummins, John Deere or Yanmar 250HP in accordance with the specification provided in this document. The evaluation of offers will be based on the Lowest-Priced, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) approach. It is the offeror’s responsibility to prove that the engine it is offering meets the requested specifications. This is a brand name or equal acquisition for engine, labor work to replace engine, and related works as described in this document.

We are seeking the removal of existing engine, supply and installation of the new engine (with a minimum 2-year warranty), and all electronic/wiring-component removal and installation. Location: Istanbul, Turkey Vessel Information: "Hiawatha" is a 15-meter long, 92-year-old motor yacht, requiring specialized care during the engine replacement process.
