The Embassy of the United States in Bangkok, Thailand, will launch the solicitation on beta.sam.gov website when it is available. This solicitation is for the Group Life Insurance Services to employees of the Government of the United States of America in Thailand. The resultant contract will be a fixed price with economic-price-adjustment-requirements type contract under which the Government will issue firm-fixed price task orders, for one base year with four one-year options. This solicitation is issued via beta.SAM.gov - no paper copies will be mailed. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered, but electronic submissions will not be accepted. The Government plans to issue the solicitation in or about Aug. 2020. The proposal due date will be set forth in the solicitation. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on initial offer without discussion. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7.
