Solicitation for LE Staff Health Insurance Services This solicitation is for the providing of Health Insurance services to the Locally hired employees of the US Embassy Lome, Togo and their eligible dependents as described in Section C of the attached Solicitation. This insurance shall be provided in accordance with Section C. The estimated numbers of employees and dependents are included in the solicitation. This is a fixed price with economic price adjustment requirements type contract. The anticipated performance is for a base period of twelve months and four one-yar periods at the option of the Government. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The proposal due date is October 13, 2020.

This solicitation is for the health insurance for locally employed (LE) staff at the US Embassy in Lome, Togo. The Contractor shall provide health insurance coverage services to employees of the Government of the United States of America in Lome, Togo and their eligible dependents in accordance with the benefit levels listed in the solicitation document. The estimated number of employees is 200 with approximately 500 eligible dependents. Please note that these are only estimated quantities for the purpose of this advance notice. The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
