The permanent Mission of the United States of America in Geneva Switzerland , seeks qualified companies to replace two elevator drives as they have exceeded their useful life and post can no longer find parts necessary for repairs. This project involves the following for both elevator #1 and #2: • Switch Controller and Electrical Part Replacement • OVF404R Regenerative Frequency Drive • Replacement of the traction unit • Speed limiter, cable and pulley replacement • Pit equipment: ladder and stop compliant • Balancing the Counterweight • In-cab button box replacement • Cabin roof equipment: overhaul and connection box • Adaptation of landing gear call boxes to existing • Complete cabin door replacement • Replacement of stainless steel cabin ceiling with indirect LED light • Adaptation of control panel to safety room 41 USC 253(c)(1) only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements The elevators are manufactured and maintained by Otis. Due to the adaptation and retrofitting of the new drives, Otis is the only company capable of providing these services. All contractors have to be registered in SAM (System for Award Management) database htpp://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
