This solicitation covers the supply and installation of an air handling unit and conduits for basement ventilation. The Contractor shall furnish all managerial, administrative, and direct labor personnel to perform all services as required in the contract. The performance period is stated in the solicitation. The Government will hold a site visit to inspect the area where the works will take place on the date stated in the solicitation. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed-price type contract. In accordance with DOSAR 652.242-73 AUTHORIZATION AND PERFORMANCE (AUG 1999), all contractors must possess all permits and licenses required to do business in Spain. All offerors must provide proof that they already possess said permits as part of their offer. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provisions 52.204-7. The solicitation covers the supply and installation of a dedicated outside air handling unit and conduits to provide ventilation for the Chancery basement area at the U.S. Embassy in Madrid, Spain. The Contractor shall furnish all managerial, administrative, and direct labor personnel to perform all services as required in the contract. The anticipated performance period is 120 calendar days after the contractor receives the notice to proceed. The final performance period will be included in the solicitation. The Government is planning a site visit to inspect the area where the works will take place, the date will be included in the solicitation.
