Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Spain will launch the solicitation on the https://es.usembassy.gov/request-for-bids/ when it is available. No responses are requested by this notice. The U.S. Embassy Madrid is going to procue for the refurbishment of of ODC office space in Madrid. This will include, masonry, carpentry, electricity and painting. The Government plans to issue the solicitation the week of July 22, 2024. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a requirements-type contract with firm fixed price line items. PLACE OF CONTRACT PERFORMANCE: U.S. Embassy Madrid, Spain - ODC Calle Romero Robledo, 8 Madrid, Spain In accordance with DOSAR 652.242-73 AUTHORIZATION AND PERFORMANCE (AUG 1999), all contractors must possess all permits and licenses required to do business in Spain. All offerors will be required to provide proof that they already possess said permits. All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
