The U.S. Consulate, Cape Town will launch the solicitation on the sam.gov website when it is available. Please see the RFQ for the quotation due date and time. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from a comparative evaluation selection process authorized under FAR 13 The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The Government is planning a site visit and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation. Anticipated performance is for one base year period and Two (02) -year periods at the option of the U.S Government. The solicitation will be issued via sam,gov website sam.gov and via the public website of the U.S. Consulate, Cape Town . No paper copies will be mailed. The solicitation (SF1449), all attachments, and all amendments will be published for viewing and printing on the sam.gov website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the sam.gov website for the solicitation and any amendments to the solicitation. System for Award Management (SAM) registration is required pursuant to FAR provision 4.1102, and prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals. The contractor shall furnish all managerial, administrative, direct labor personnel, materials and transportation that are necessary to accomplish all work required.
