Updates regarding the solicitation, including its release date, will be posted on SAM.gov once normal government operations resume. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This solicitation is for the Garbage Collection and Disposal Services for U.S. Embassy Philippines. The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year options, and one six-month option, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The Government is planning a mandatory site visit and pre-quotation conference and the date for this site visit and conference will be in the solicitation. All contractors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://sam.gov/content/home prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are required to register prior to the submittal of proposals. It is important to make sure the submission is made in specific size and format; in MS-Word 2007/2010 or MS-Excel 2007/2010 or Adobe Acrobat (pdf) file format. The file size must not exceed 10MB.
