The Embassy of the United States in the Philippines will launch the solicitation on the beta.SAM.gov website when it is available. This Solicitation is to provide health insurance services to employees of the Government of the United States of America in Manila, Philippines. The estimated numbers of employees and eligible dependents are included in the solicitation. This is a fixed price with economic price adjustment requirements type contract. The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a fixed price with economic price adjustment requirements type contract under which will be issued firm fixed price task orders, for one year with four one-year options. The Government plans to issue the solicitation on or about August 2020. The proposal due date will be set forth in the solicitation. The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of proposals.
