The Contractor shall provide Serbian language instruction to adult students at a broad range of proficiency levels, from beginner to advanced. At the beginner level, instruction shall focus on learning the Serbian alphabets, basic grammar and vocabulary, and basic expressions. At the intermediate and advanced levels, instruction shall develop speaking, listening and reading skills in a professional context, to permit comprehension of relevant media and face-to-face conversation. Content areas include political and economic fields, culture, general interest and other topics typically found in mass-media publications for the foreign language speaking public. Instruction shall also include job relevant language terminology and usage of the designated field of interest. No more than 5 students will be part of any class for lessons provided at this location. The Contractor shall provide individual and/or group Serbian language classes. Classes shall be 60 minutes in length and shall be scheduled between Monday and Friday between 09:00 and 17:00 at the U.S. Embassy, Bul. kneza A. Karadjordjevica 92, Belgrade or online, depending on the student's preference.

The Embassy of the United States in Serbia will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available. The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. The solicitation will be for providing on-site Serbian language instruction at beginner, intermediate and advanced levels to American officers. We will require provision of both individual and group classes. We estimate that up to 3,500 individual and group classes combined will be required for each contract year.
