The Medical Unit of the U.S. Embassy in Panama requires Ambulance services to safely transport sick patients to a facility where they can receive emergency medical care. Transportation services should include taking a patient from the Embassy / Private residence / Site of accident within the area of coverage to a local hospital / Airport or residence and from the Medical Facility to the residence. The U.S. Government intends to award a contract/purchase order to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract/purchase order based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so. All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7.
