U.S. Embassy Asuncion, Paraguay has a requirement for health insurance firms that are interested in providing health insurance services to an estimated one hundred fifty (150) local employees of U.S. Embassy Asuncion and their approximate three hundred (300) eligible dependents. The Contractor shall possess all permits, licenses, and any other appointments required for the performance of work under this contract. The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four (4) one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price with economic price adjustment type contract. The Government is planning a pre-proposal conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation. All contractors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
