The U.S. Embassy Oslo, Norway provides the following Pre-Solicitation Notice regarding the issuance of a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for: Lower Gate Replacement Project This U.S. Embassy in Oslo intends to issue a Firm Fixed-Price Construction type contract during the third quarter of calendar year 2024. The successful contractor shall provide complete construction services, contract coordination, and supervision, including but not limited to the management and construction necessary to meet the Statement of Work (SOW) requirements of this Lower Gate Replacement Project within the established timeframe. The United States Embassy in Oslo needs to award a Contract for the installation of an automated gate in Oslo, Norway. The scope of work is to provide a residential automated gate at the residential property. All the work must be performed in accordance with Norwegian Electrical Codes, NEK 400. The magnitude of this project is anticipated to be between $25,000 and $100,000 U.S. Dollars for the entire project. Firms shall be knowledgeable in written and spoken English. In accordance with DOSAR 652.242-73 AUTHORIZATION AND PERFORMANCE (AUG 1999), it will be necessary for your organization to possess authorization to operate and do business in the country in which this contract will be performed. Contractors shall be required to provide information that clearly shows you are able to perform work in Oslo. All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals. Companies interested in the solicitation should express their interest by written correspondence, no later than 14 May 2024, at the following email address OsloGSOProcurement@state.gov and MUST include the following information: Name of Firm, Name, Telephone, Email Address of Point of Contact and Complete Physical and Mailing Address of Firm.
