The purpose of this fixed price contract is to obtain janitorial services for real property owned or managed by the U.S. Government at the U.S. Embassy Oslo, Norway. The Contractor shall perform janitorial services in all designated spaces including, but not limited to halls, offices, restrooms, work areas, entrance ways, lobbies, storage areas, elevators, and stairways. The contract will be for a one-year period from the date of the contract award, with four one-year options. The Contractor shall furnish all managerial, administrative, and direct labor personnel that are necessary to accomplish the work in this contract. Contractor employees shall be on site only for contractual duties and not for other business purposes. This period of performance includes any transition period authorized under the contract in accordance with Chapter 16 of the Norwegian Working Environment Act compliance. U.S. Embassy Oslo, Norway is soliciting for a contractor for janitorial services at its Embassy compound.The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation. All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
