The Embassy of the United States in Mozambique will launch the solicitation on SAM.gov website when it is available. The purpose of this fixed price contract is to obtain Janitorial Services for real property owned or managed by the U.S. Government at U.S. Mission in Maputo. The Contractor shall assist our in-house Char-force team to perform janitorial services in all designated spaces inside the NEC including, but not limited to halls, offices, restrooms, work areas, entrance ways, lobbies, storage areas, elevators and stairways with all chemicals, with all accessories and consumables to be provided by the U.S. Mission in Maputo. Contractor will also be responsible for maintaining the areas on the outside the main building to include the walkways, driveways, parking and garage areas, all outside bins, Marine House only ground floor and common areas, SPX building, Utility building, Pool area (gym, restrooms, locker rooms, pool house and pool deck), Service Building (dumpster/recycling and receiving area), back entrance areas (outside Service CAC), front and back entrances and sidewalk areas along the Marginal & back service road. Contractor will also perform the services at the New Warehouse and the American Cultural Center. The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov upon submission of their proposal, any offeror not registered in SAM at the time of submission may be deemed non-responsible with no further consideration of their proposal pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register immediately if interested in this requirement.
