The United States Embassy in Mexico seeks companies that provide timely and comprehensive media news summaries in written English focused on agreed-upon number of topics and foreign media outlets, including but not limited to the ones mentioned below. The summaries must be delivered by e-mail to the customer’s designated users twice a day no later than 7:00 a.m. (morning summary)Mexico City time and 3:00 p.m. (evening summary) Mexico City time. The email must be visually engaging and cleanly organized and clips must include: a) brief summaries of the top stories at the top dubbed “Top Stories”; b) an index of the reported headlines ordered by media outlet, distinguishing between print and TV and Radio; c) the internet link to the full-text of each referred news piece, as well as the full-text copied in the body of the e-mail, and should include visuals as appropriate. The format should be visually appealing and user friendly. Proposal packages should include samples. The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The Government is planning a Pre-Proposal Conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation. All contractors are to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting a offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7 (b).
