The U.S. Embassy in Mexico City has a requirement for translation services in support of U.S. agencies and sub-agencies supported by the U.S. Embassy and Consulates in Mexico. The translation services will include both English to Spanish and Spanish to English translation. Requirements will include use of both standard and non-standard terminology and will encompass a wide range of subject matters. Intended type of Contract is an indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity, multiple-award type contract with firm-fixed prices. The anticipated performance is for a base year with four (4) one-year options to extend the services. The intended base period of performance is from 2020-2021. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered. The Government intends to award a multiple award contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offerors who are responsible contractors. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. NOTE: All proposals shall be delivered electronically. Please refer to amendment 0002. Place of performance: Mexican Republic All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
