Objective: The U.S. Embassy in Moldova is seeking to outsource the income tax calculation and reporting services. Scope of work: Calculate income tax deductions for the Embassy’s locally employed staff in accordance with Moldovan Tax Code provisions. Calculate personal exemptions for employees. Prepare and submit the reports on income tax withholdings to Moldovan fiscal authorities. Resolve any discrepancies in tax calculations and assume responsibility for accuracy of calculations. Details: Working with a point of contact at the U.S. Embassy, the selected company will calculate income tax withholding and personal exemption amounts in a format that is needed for the Embassy’s Financial Services and Payroll Center. These calculations will be performed bi-weekly, on a pre-set schedule. Number of employees: approximately 300. In addition, the selected company will prepare and submit annual income tax withholding reports to Moldovan fiscal authorities. Requirements: License to provide auditing services issued by the relevant Moldovan authorities. Evaluation Method: Lowest price technically acceptable (LPTA). Proposals are due on or before 17:00 Chisinau time on August 12, 2024. Incomplete proposals or proposals submitted after the specified deadline will not be considered.
