The requirement is to· provide annual preventative maintenance aligning with the manufacturer's recommended schedule by manufacturer certified technicians on the U.S. Embassy Riga, Caterpillar compound generators. The estimated value for the entire period of performance is 11,618.39 euros, USD12,505, including VAT. These supplies/services require completion by a manufacturer certified technician and are done on an annual basis. This purchase order does not include option years. This will allow the Office of Facility Management {FAC) to accomplish its maintenance requirements on criticality A listed equipment. SIA Avesco serves as the only authorized Caterpillar dealer and service provider in Latvia. They have been the only authorized provider in Latvia since 2000 and even served as the commissioning company for the U.S. Embassy generator installation back in 2010. Avesco is the only qualified source due to this long-standing relationship that they have with Caterpillar. Additionally, Avesco provides Caterpillar branded spare and repair parts that we identify as necessary during their regularly scheduled annual maintenance.
