A pre-proposal conference to discuss the requirements of this solicitation will be held on March 9, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at the U.S. Embassy Compound in Awkar, Metn. Offerors interested in attendance should email the names and legible copies of an official ID for a maximum of two (2) participants per company before close of business on March 4, 2022 to the following email address: ContractingBeirut@state.gov. Participants planning to attend the pre-proposal conference, are requested to be at the Embassy main gate at 09:30 a.m. on March 9, 2022.

The U.S. Embassy Beirut, Lebanon has a requirement for health insurance services for its locally employed staff and their dependents (approximately 1850 individuals). The anticipated services are for a base period of twelve months and four one-year periods at the option of the Government. All responsible sources may submit an electronic offer, which will be considered. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 5.207. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals. Electronic offers will be accepted.
