The U.S. Government intends to award a contract for Astana Post in-country Courier Services to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so. Quotations are due by February 29th 2024 at 3pm of local Astana time + 6 GMT. No quotations will be accepted after this time. Proposals must be in English and incomplete proposals will not be accepted. Please email a request for the solicitation package if you are interested in participation.

The United States Embassy in Astana requires in-country Courier Services. Courier services within Kazakhstan, domestic standard, and high priority deliveries (fastest transit time possibly, even for large shipments), which should usually include the necessity to load and unload vehicles, including working on the compound of the U.S. Embassy Astana. The contractor should also be able to act as an authorized representative of the U.S. Embassy Astana picking up diplomatic mail at the airport in the city of Astana covering all the incurred expenses and providing the U.S. Embassy with an invoice to pay on a monthly basis for all the services combined, and when required this service should be done expeditiously (same day service). The expected average monthly volume/billed weight is over 5000 kg with Almaty-Astana, Astana-Almaty and within the city (Astana) routes being the most requests services. These can be additional works requested. Please note this is a pre-solicitation only. The Embassy of the United States in Astana, Kazakhstan will launch the solicitation when it is available.
