The purpose of this amendment 19KS7023Q0045-0001 is to: 1. Extend the submission deadline to August 21, 2023, 17:00 Korea Standard Time 2. Make changes in Section 3.A.2.(1) and Section 3.A.2.(4) of the solicitation, as set forth in the attached page 3. Provide the questions and answers --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Enclosed is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for Cook and Food Services at the Marine Security Guard Residence (MSGR) of the U.S. Embassy Seoul, Korea. If you would like to submit a quotation, follow the instructions in Section 3 of the solicitation, please complete the required portions of the attached document, and submit it in electronic format to the Contracting office as shown on block 15 of the Standard Form1449 that follows this letter. The U.S. Embassy Seoul intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting an acceptable quotation at the lowest price. We intend to award a contract based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so. The pre-quotation conference will be held at the GSO green conference room at #10, Namyoung-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul, Korea on August 10, 2023 at 13:00 Korea Standard Time. Please also note that the site visit will follow right after the pre-quotation conference on the same day. If you intend to participate in the pre-quotation conference, please contact Mr. Jung, Jong Hee at JungJH@state.gov to make necessary arrangement for access no later than August 8, 2023 at 17:00 Korea Standard Time. Offerors are requested to limit the number of participants to two persons per company. Please be sure to bring the solicitation document with you to the conference. No extra copies will be available at the conference. Any questions concerning the solicitation should be submitted in writing by August 11, 2023, at 17:00 Korea Standard Time via email to SeoulProposals@state.gov. Quotations are due by August 21, 2023, at 17:00, Korea Standard Time. No quotations will be accepted after this time. Only the electronic submission of the quotation will be accepted. Please submit your quotation addressed only to the Contracting Office by email. Please separate the technical quotation from the pricing information as well as the Section 5 information. For a quotation to be considered, you must also complete and submit the following: As required in Section 3, the offers shall be submitted in 2 separate packages as in the following: A. Price Offer: With Prices 1. Signed SF1449 2. Section 1.1.2, Pricing schedule, and 3. Section 5, Representations 4. Proof of SAM Registration and SAM UEI Number B. Technical Offer: Without Prices 1. Technical proposals required in Section 3. A.2 below The successful offeror shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database https://www.sam.gov prior to submittal of their offer/proposal pursuant to FAR provision 5.207. The guidelines for registration in SAM are also available at: https://www.fsd.gov/fsd-gov/learning-center-system.do?sysparm_system=SAM It is important to make sure the submission is made in specific size and format; in MS-Word 2007/2010 or MS-Excel 2007/2010 or Adobe Acrobat (pdf) file format. The file size must not exceed 30MB. If the file size should exceed the 30MB, the submission must be made in separate files and attached to separate emails with less than 30MB each.
