Enclosed is a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for Elevator Maintenance Services. If you would like to submit quotation, follow the instructions in Section 3 of the solicitation, complete the required portions of the attached document, and submit it to the address shown on the Standard Form 1449 that follows this letter. U.S. Embassy Nairobi may award multiple contracts to the responsible company submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price. We intend to award each contract based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so. U.S. Embassy Nairobi intends to conduct a pre-quotation conference at the site, The pre-proposal conference will be held on December 20, 2023 at 1000 hours (East Africa time) at the US Embassy Compound Nairobi. Prospective offerors/quoters should contact The Contracting Officer, Nairobi NairobiGSO-Contracts@state.gov by 4:00 pm (EAT), December 18, 2023 for additional information or to arrange entry to the building. Conference and site visit attendance is mandatory. Quotations are due by January 15, 2023 1000 hours. East Africa Time. No quotations will be accepted after this time. The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, when the solicitation is posted in SAM.gov The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type of contract. The Government is planning a pre-proposal conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation. All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7.
