See attached SF30 Solicitation Amendment A00001 Original The Embassy of the United States in Kenya hereby launches this solicitation on the SAM.gov website effective December 20, 2022. The purpose of this solicitation is to provide make ready services (minor maintenance and repair of residences) for the U.S. Embassy Nairobi. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. If you intend to submit a proposal, you should thoroughly examine all documents contained in the solicitation package. The Embassy intends to conduct a site visit (see L.6, 52.236-27) and hold a pre-proposal conference. Attendance to the site visit is mandatory. The conference and site visit will be held on January 10, 2023. Please direct any questions and interest to attend the site visit to the Contracting Officer, Nairobi NairobiGSO-Contracts@state.gov during regular business hours on or before January 6, 2023. Responses will be sent in writing to all contractors on our list of interested parties. The contract will be a firm fixed price, ID/IQ type contract, with no adjustment for any escalation in costs or prices of labor or materials. Each offeror will be responsible for determining the amount of labor and materials that will be required to complete the project, and for pricing its proposal accordingly. The successful offeror(s) shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting a proposal pursuant to FAR provision 5.207.Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register immediately if interested in submitting a proposal. The U.S. Government intends to award multiple contracts to the responsible companies submitting an acceptable offer at the lowest price. See Section I for details on multiple awards. We intend to award contracts based on initial proposals, without holding discussions. However, we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so.
