The Embassy of the United States in Kenya hereby launches this solicitation on the beta.SAM.gov website effective August19, 2021. The RFQ submission date is Friday, September 17, 2021 10:00 am East African Time. The complete offer shall be received by the U.S. Embassy Nairobi Kenya, located at the address indicated in the cover page of the solicitation documents. The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting an acceptable quotation at the lowest reasonable price, but may make multiple awards based on a combination of price, funding, and availability. We intend to award a contract based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so. The RFQ does not commit the U.S. Embassy Nairobi to make any award. The Embassy may cancel this RFQ or any part of it. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The purpose of this solicitation is to purchase 5 large SUV Vehicles (supply and delivery), for the U.S. Embassy Nairobi. . All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The solicitation will be issued via the BETA.SAM.GOV. The successful offeror(s) will be required to have a DUNS number and be registered in SAM/CCR through the following sites: DUNS – www.dnb.com and SAM/CCR – www.sam.gov All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
