MIXED-METHODS RESEARCH PROJECT
The U.S. Embassy Kingston seeks a contractor to conduct mixed-methods research on Jamaican adults' attitudes, motivations, knowledge gaps, and information-consumption patterns related to migration, including legal pathways and risks of irregular migration. The project will consist of a nationally representative quantitative survey and one round of eight qualitative focus group discussions across eastern and western Jamaica. Findings will inform a data-driven public diplomacy messaging strategy, including audience segmentation, channel selection, and performance measurement. The contractor must protect respondent confidentiality, maintain sponsor anonymity where directed, and deliver complete datasets and methodological records for independent review. Performance will take place in Jamaica, with the prime contractor fully responsible for any subcontractor work and required to obtain written approval for any subcontractor substitutions after award.
