The U.S. Embassy of Tegucigalpa, Honduras has a requirement for a contractor to provide and install a prefabricated mezzanine at one of the USG buildings in Tegucigalpa. The contractor shall provide complete design, supply, delivery, and installation of a fully functional modular mezzanine system, including structural components, access features, flooring, safety railings, mesh enclosure, and any required base preparation. Please note that this is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial item, prepared in accordance with the format FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed-price type contract. The Government is planning a pre-quotation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation. All contractors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations. This opportunity is subject to 52.229-12 - Tax on Certain Foreign Procurements Electronic Submission/Responses: This opportunity allows for electronic responses.
