The Embassy of the United States in Guyana will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available. The U.S. Embassy Georgetown has a requirement for dedicated internet services. The anticipated performance period is for a base year, with four one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a offer, which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. The Government is planning a pre-proposal conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation. Interested offerors shall be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) database at https://www.sam.gov prior to submittal of their proposal as prescribed under FAR 4.1102. Failure to be registered at time of proposal submission shall deem the offeror’s proposal to be considered non-responsive to the solicitation requirements and no further consideration will be given. Therefore, offerors are highly encouraged to register immediately if they are interested in submitting a response to this requirement.
