This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract to DST innovation GmbH for the supply and delivery of two mobile laboratory setups to the US Embassy in Kampala, Uganda. The labs enable rapid response to biological threats and outbreaks, including equipment for PCR analysis, ELISA, sample handling, and protective gear. The government considers DST innovation the only source capable of providing this tailored solution because the design is based on the Bundeswehr Institute of Microbiology's mobile lab and is already in use in neighboring countries, ensuring regional interoperability.
