PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE Solicitation No.: 19GE5024R0077 The Regional Procurement Support Office, Frankfurt provides the following Pre-Solicitation Notice regarding the issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for: Janitorial Services for the US Embassy Prague, Czech Republic The Regional Procurement Support Office in Frankfurt, Germany, intends to issue a Firm Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity Commercial Service Contract during the second quarter of calendar year 2024. The proposed services are for primarily daily services, such as cleaning all designated spaces including, but not limited to halls, offices, restrooms, work areas, entrance ways, lobbies, storage areas, elevators and stairways.to be performed every working day between 06:00 to 14:00 hours. Other services shall be in accordance with bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual schedules described within the Statement of Work (SOW). The successful Contractor shall furnish managerial, administrative, and direct labor personnel to accomplish janitorial services within the Embassy facility. The facility’s total area is approximately 7,500 square meters (sqm). The solicitation may result in an award of a Firm-Fixed Price IDIQ Type Contract for one base year plus four (4) separate option years beginning in the fourth quarter half of fiscal year 2024. Qualified companies interested in the solicitation shall express their interest by written correspondence to the attention of Mr. Anthony Walker at WalkerAK@state.gov no later than May 15, 2024 using the solicitation number 19GE50-24-R-0050 in the subject line. All requests for a copy of the solicitation MUST include the following information: Name of Firm, Unique Entity Identifier, Name of Contact Person, Telephone Number and Email Address of Point of Contact as well as the Firm’s Complete Physical and Mailing Addresses. In applying for the solicitation material, you are acknowledging that your company can reach compliance with the following highlighted requirements included in the solicitation. In accordance with DOSAR 652.242-73 AUTHORIZATION AND PERFORMANCE (AUG 1999), it will be necessary for your organization to possess authorization to operate and do business in the country in which this contract will be performed. Contractors shall be required to provide: a. A thorough description as to what steps you have taken to investigate all requirements to obtain authorization to perform in the given country, b. Details of your findings and a description of what your organization will be required to undertake to obtain licensing, and c. Specific information concerning the period of time you anticipate it will take to obtain appropriate authorization. You will be required to provide information that clearly shows you are able to perform work in Czech Republic. Any entry or work visa issues requirements must be clearly discussed with a plan to mitigate any risk clearly identified. Solicitation and award will be subject to the laws and regulations of the United States of America. This requirement is being competed utilizing full and open competition procedures.
