The US Consulate General Frankfurt hereby provides the following Pre-Solicitation Notice in respect to the issuance of a Request for Proposal (RFP) for: Mail Screening Facility Containers on behalf of the Bureau for Overseas Buildings Operations (OBO) The Regional Procurement Support Office in Frankfurt, Germany, intends to issue a Firm Fixed-Price Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity Commercial Item Contract for one base year plus four separate option years during the second half of fiscal year 2022. The proposed services’ requirement is for the purchase of prefabricated container buildings to be used as external mailrooms at embassies and consulates worldwide. The container buildings shall be manufactured to U.S. Government designs, specifications and requirements which requires adapting the design for the local electrical systems. The designs will require the construction or modification of shipping containers into these mailrooms. The requirement also includes shipping the newly-completed facility to a U.S. Government Post worldwide. The solicitation may result in an award of one or more Firm-Fixed Price IDIQ Type Contract(s) for the base year plus four (4) separate option years with a starting date of July 01, 2022. Qualified companies interested in the solicitation shall express their interest by written correspondence to the attention of Mr. Anthony Walker at WalkerAK@state.gov no later than March 15, 2022 using the solicitation number 19GE50-22-R-0058 in the subject line. All requests for a copy of the solicitation MUST include the following information: Name of Firm, Unique Entity Identifier, Name of Contact Person, Telephone Number and Email Address of Point of Contact as well as the Firm’s Complete Physical and Mailing Addresses. The solicitation package will only be available in the English language. Solicitation and award will be subject to the laws and regulations of the United States of America. This requirement is being competed utilizing full and open competition procedures.
