The Embassy of the United States in Paris, France is releasing a solicitation for the conservation treatment of the painting Washington at Princeton by Charles Willson Peale located in a USG Residence in Paris, France. The bid due date for this solicitation is set on February 23, 2024 no later than 16:00 (Paris France Time). A site visit of the painting is scheduled on February 6, 2024 at 14:00 (Paris France Time) and a site visit of the C2RMF is scheduled on February 8, 2024 at 14:00 (Paris France Time). The Government intends to award the contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a fixed price contract. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to submitting an offer pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register at the earliest stage.
