The Embassy of the United States in Paris, France, will release a solicitation for the supply and installation of substantial doors in several apartments in Paris and Paris Suburb. .The Government is planning a site visit and the date for this visit will be communicated to interested vendors. The Government intends to award the contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be an IDIQ (indefinite delivery indefinite quantity) contract under which will be issued task orders. The contract will be a one year contract. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
