The Embassy of the United States in Paris, France, will release a solicitation for the provision of payroll services for locally employed staff of the US Mission in Paris, France. Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Paris, France will launch this solicitation on the beta.SAM website when it is available. The Government is planning a pre-solicitation conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation. The Government intends to award the contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be an IDIQ (indefinite delivery indefinite quantity) contract under which will be issued task orders. The contract will be for a base year with four one-year options if exercised by the Government. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
