Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Cyprus will launch the solicitation on the https://sam.gov website when it is available. The Embassy of the United States in Nicosia will issue a solicitation for the installation of new alarm systems and preventive maintenance of alarm systems, for various residences in Nicosia, Cyprus. The anticipated performance is for a base period of twelve months and four one-year periods, at the option of the Government. These requirements may change depending on funding availability in forth coming periods. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered. The Government plans to issue the solicitation in February 2024. The U.S. Government intends to award a contract to the responsible company submitting a technically acceptable proposal at the lowest price. The Government is planning a pre-proposal conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
