The Embassy of the United States in Cyprus will launch the solicitation on the beta.sam.gov website when it is available. The Embassy of the United States of America in Nicosia intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for providing life insurance for locally employed staff of the U.S. Embassy Nicosia, Cyprus. The estimated number of insured persons annually is 185. Please note these are only estimated quantities. The anticipated performance is for a base period of twelve months and four one-year periods at the option of the Government. These requirements may change depending on funding availability in forth coming periods. The U.S. Government plans to issue the request for proposal in November 2021. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered. The Government is planning a pre-proposal conference and the date for this conference will be in the solicitation. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
