Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Yaounde, Cameroon will launch the solicitation on the https://beta.sam.gov/ website when it is available. This solicitation is for mobile telephone services. The Embassy is using approximately 370 lines for official purposes. The Contractor shall provide complete mobile telephones services for the U.S. Embassy of Yaounde. Services provided shall include: Mobile Telephone Equipment Calls within Cameroon International Calls International Roaming Internet SMS Messaging Voice Mail Rental of Cellphones, with or without SIM Cards 24-hour Customer Service Detailed Billing of Calls Made All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered. Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price. The anticipated performance is for one base period of twelve months and four one-year option periods, at the option of the Government. The option to exercise these option years is a unilateral decision by the U.S. Government. Prospective offerors must be able to comply with all legal and regulatory requirements for operating in Cameroon. The solicitation (SF1449), all attachments, and all amendments will be published for viewing and printing from the beta.sam.gov website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the beta.sam.gov website for the solicitation and any amendments to the solicitation. All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals. The guidelines for registration in SAM are also available at: https://www.sam.gov/SAM/ The response date in this synopsis is not firm; please see the Request for Proposal for the actual closing date of the solicitation. Questions will not be accepted at this time. However, interested parties may submit questions regarding this requirement after the solicitation is posted.
