Sole Source Notice of Intent Title: Notice of Intent to Sole Source Janitorial Services Contract Number: 19C02023C0013 Classification Code: S201 – Housekeeping – Custodial Janitorial NAICS Code: 561720 - Janitorial Services Description: The U.S. Embassy Bogota, General Services Office, intends to award a sole source modification to extend the period of performace for four (4) months of an existing contract to Servitwing M&M, C.A. for Janitorial Services to U.S. Embassy Caracas. Servitwing M&M, C.A. is uniquely qualified since it has cleared personnel to perform the services required while a new action is being competed. Justification for Sole Source: This procurement is being conducted in accordance with the statutory authority of FAR 6.302-1, which states that only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. Sercitwing M&M, C.A. is the only vendor that currently has cleared personnel who can perform the services in the U.S. Government properties in Caracas Response Information: This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any interested party that believes it can meet the requirements described herein may identify themselves and must provide evidence of their capability to fulfill the requirement. Responses must be submitted in writing to the point of contact listed below and must be received no later than September 26, 2024, 17:00 PM Local Time. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
