The Consulate General of the United States in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil will launch the solicitation on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website (Beta.Sam.gov) when it is available. This Solicitation is for microphone system replacement at NIV Consular Section in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The quotation due date will be 10 business days after the site visit at 4PM at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, local time in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Government is unable to confirm the site visit date at this time. The Government will provide potential offeros a minimum of 15 business days notice of the ate and time of the site visit. The site visit will be held at the Consular Office in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. All contractors have to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to contract award pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. Therefore prospective offerors are encouraged to register prior to the submittal of quotations/proposals.
