The requirement is to provide flexible and reliable group transportation for 70+ U.S. military forces in support of Exercise Tapio. This will be seven vehicles (passenger vans and SUVs), with local drivers, to transport participants. The location is in Campo Grande and will involve transportation from the lodging location to the Campo Grande Air Base (operating location). Due to U.S. Southern Command policy, TDY personnel are prohibited from renting or driving vehicles in the area of responsibility (AOR). Additionally, Ubers and taxis are not viable options because of the need for special driver access to the military base and the requirement to transport operational gear. These logistical constraints necessitate a targeted transportation solution to ensure mission success. This service is critical to supporting U.S. Southern Command’s Lines of Effort and advancing military interoperability between the U.S. and Brazil.
