Official Residence Expense (ORE) Staff, Embassy Association Employees (EAE) and Peace Corp Personal Service Contracts (PSC) are included under this contract only as a rider.

U.S. Embassy Brazil has a requirement for life insurance coverage for its employees located at the U.S. Embassy Brasília, Brazil, and U.S. Consulates in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Recife, Porto Alegre, and Belo Horizonte. Please note this solicitation is not ready to be issued as of this date. The Embassy of the United States in Brasilia, Brazil will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov website when it is available. The anticipated performance period is for one (1) base year, with four (4) one-year option periods, if exercised by the Government. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be a firm fixed price type contract. Pursuant to FAR 4.1102(a) all contractors must to be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov prior to proposal submission. Therefore, prospective offerors are encouraged to complete the registration process prior to submitting proposals.
