If you would like to submit a quotation, follow the instructions in Section 3 of the solicitation, complete the required portions of the attached document, and submit your proposal via email to BrasiliaProposalsDL@state.gov or to the physical address shown at Block 15 on the Standard Form 1449. The U.S. Government intends to award a purchase order to the responsible company submitting an acceptable quotation at the lowest price. We intend to award a purchase order based on initial quotations, without holding discussions, although we may hold discussions with companies in the competitive range if there is a need to do so. All contractors must register in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (www.sam.gov) prior to submitting a quotation pursuant to FAR 52.204-7. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered. The contract is for meal voucher services required by the U.S. Embassy Brasilia, Brazil. The contract will be for a one-year period from the date to start services, with four one-year options to renew. The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the lowest priced technically acceptable offeror who is a responsible contractor. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be an indefinite-delivery, indefinite quantity type contract.
