The Embassy of the United States in Benin will launch the solicitation on the SAM.gov and the Embassy’s website when it is available. The requirement is for the PROVISION AND INSTALLATION OF TWO (2) NEW DUCTED SPLIT SYSTEM AIR CONDITIONER IN SWITCHGEAR ROOM – U110 for U.S. Embassy Cotonou. The anticipated performance period is 180 days. Firms shall be knowledgeable in written and spoken English and possess all appropriate permits and licenses required to perform the services in Benin. Solicitation and award will be subject to the laws and regulations of the United States of America and is being competed utilizing full and open competition procedures. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which will be considered. The Government may award the contract based on the initial offer without discussion. The resultant contract will be fixed price. The Government is planning a pre-quotation site visit, and the date for this visit will be in the solicitation. All contractors must be registered in the SAM (System for Award Management) Database https://www.sam.gov at the time of proposal submission pursuant to FAR provision 52.204-7. If an offeror is not registered in SAM at the time of proposal submission, the Government may immediately deem the offeror to be non-responsible with no further consideration. Therefore, prospective offerors are strongly encouraged to register immediately if interested in this solicitation. Only electronic offers will be accepted.
